Cape of Good Hope 1820 Donkin Governors Letter ex Grahamstown

c1820 GOVERNORS wrapper from GRAHAMSTOWN bearing an excellent (for this usually wax-clogged) strike of that town's scarce crown-in-circle. Addressed to SIR RUFANE SHAW DONKIN, with full honorific titling, whose correspondence is particularly elusive. Donkin was Acting Governor only from 1820 to 1821. Superb, rare, a handsome letter.
