1823 GOVERNOR'S wrapper from BATHURST addressed "To His Excellency The Rtg. Hon. Lord C. H. Somerset G.C.B Governor". Excellent complete clear strike of the scarce Bathurst Crown-in-Circle, the front showing also the First Official Letter handstamp (O1). Some overall patina of soiling adding character.
