  • Excellent strike of the Grahamstown Crown-in-Circle (where impressions from this implement are most often seen indistinct, wax-clogged).
  • First Official Free handstamp dated JA 11 1825 which in view of the addressing
  • indicative of a military communication from the Eastern Frontier.
  • VF, lovely early letter.
