1863 Cape Town to London: Charming small format mourning envelope franked De La Rue 1/- BRIGHT EMERALD GREEN (SG 21) lightly cancelled by triangular defacer. Adhesive has large margins on two sides, just touched/in on third. Lovely fresh bright colour. Cape Town unlined cds JY 21 on reverse, London AU 25 on front. F-VF, full of character, a pleasing example of this rarity, few covers exist.
