1905 CAMEL POST: Cover from MIER to Upington franked Cape 1d. Adhesive tied clear BARRED NUMERAL 938 together with PROVING cds MR 9 of MIER BB (applied at Rietfontein). At this time camels were employed to carry mail between Mier and Zwartmodder. Superb, scarce, also being a rare BONC proving piece for this numeral.
