1878 1d carmine-red, Ovpt Types 16 & 15, DIFFERENT TYPES IN PAIR (SG 16&17). F/M horizontal pair, the left stamp ovpt type 16 and the right stamp ovpt type 15, both in black. Most desirable example of the juxtaposition of the two overprint types as occurrred in 7 positions on the right hand pane. A scarce surviving pair thus.
