1904 Picture postcard (Somali warriors) written from Aden to Paris and entering the mails in Mombasa 13 NO. Franked KEVII 1d. Also bears strike of DEUTSCHE SEEPOST / OST-AFRIKANISCHE LINIE cds of 13.11. This was the German shipping line serving the East coast, the card likely mailed by a passenger on board ship. An interesting illustration of the interplay between the East African territories of the time.
