Mauritius 1900 15c Die Proof, Soft Die

1900 DIE PROOF in black for Arms small format keyplate 15c value tablet (SG 149 etc) on glazed card dated 22 JAN 97 and endorsed "Maurs" in red manuscript. VF, scarce. It seems preparation for a 15c value began with the 2c & 18c of 1897 but that it only came to be included in the 1900-05 set.
