Natal 1901 DeWaal & Co Forwarding Agent Label on Letter

1901 FORWARDING AGENTS: Envelope franked QV 1d tied Point (cds OC 14) to Pretoria. Alongside large brown perforated label "De Waal & Co / Durban and Delagoa Bay" detailing the firm's services as Forwarding Agents etc. The label is tied by a strike of the triangular Pretoria press censor mark. Durban and Pretoria backstamps. F-VF, rare. Kenneth Rowe, 1984, illustrates such a letter and mentions that he records only 3 examples of this label in use.
