1904 Official Letter to NOVA SCOTIA from Pietermaritzburg franked KEVII 1d with the fascimile of the signature of C. BIRD of the Colonial Secretaries' Offices confirming the official status of the communication. The letter was undelivered and returned, the front showing "NOT CALLED FOR" handstamp and the return Halifax. N. S. cds (MR 2).
