NORTHERN RHODESIA: BAROTSELAND AIRMAILS: 1939 FIRST FLIGHT England - Lusaka - Mongu. Cover franked GB 1½d & with backstamps showing cds of LUSAKA 4 JAN & MONGU arrival 9 JAN. Research records that due to the late arrival of the flying boat at Kisumu, the 14 letters from England missed the first Lusaka-Mongu flight and the letters were dispatched on the second flight.
