SA: 1911 First Aerial Post souvenir card carried FIRST RETURN flight Muizenberg to Kenilworth. Franked Transvaal KEVII ½d tied by Special MUIZENBERG "aerial post" cachet of DEC 27. Addressed to Wynberg, Cape, this card representative of those written locally in Muizenberg and due to the lateness (8pm) of the flight back to Kenilworth did not have arrival markings applied in Kenilworth. F-VF, central fold mentioned for accuracy, a rare card from this flight on which only 210 were carried and very few survive. Ex Barry Smith. See additional image.
