South Africa 1942 Bantam 2d Misperforated Block

1942 Bantam War Effort 2d Sailor violet DRAMATICALLY MISPERFORATED (SG 100var). VF/M/UM block of four (two units) with horizontal PERFORATION MISALIGNMENT UPWARDS, UHB V12. Lovely presentation, very scarce. Apparently these stamps come from the original 24 consecutive panes purchased at a Witwatersrand post office in 1945. Sheets 1 to 5 showed the perforation moving progressively up. Sheet 6 perforations were through the middle of the stamp. Sheets 7 to 10 were completely blank of any printing (albino). Sheets 12 to 23 had perforations moving progressively downwards to normal.
