SA: 1944 GIFTS AND COMFORTS FUND 3d Active Service Letter Card: An VF unused Afrikaans aerogramme (MAL 6) with sideflap handstamped "With Best Wishes from the S.A. GIFTS and COMFORTS FUND." in MAGENTA. Handstamp 103mm in length compared to the presently listed RED overprint of 106mm, without stop at end. See scans. An apparently as yet unrecorded piece for the Aerogramme/WWII militaria collector. As with all of the mere handful of such pieces extant, an exhibition showpiece.
