1945 Victory 1d - 3d (SG 108-110). Trio of contemporary Post Office Publicity Department PUBLICITY PHOTOS as distributed to newspapers for promotional purposes. Larger than stampsize (190x80mm) and taken direct from the master artwork much more detail is seen than in the issued stamps. Interesting adjunct materials from this otherwise somewhat stark stage of Union philately. Particularly scarce surviving examples in this period.
