South West Africa 1903 Walfish Bay to Germany

1903 Cape 1d card (ONE PENNY ovptd 1½d - Quik type PP7.7a) used from WALFISH BAY (cds JY 22) to Germany, front showing partial arrival mark. This is the card privately printed on the obverse side (Mertens & Sichel's Store - Walfishbay) recorded by Quik as seen from 9 NOV 1903. F-VF, very scarce. The Walfish Bay postmark is Putzel type B3a which includes the variety "code letter at top".
