1909 WALFISH BAY MANUSCRIPT CANCELLATION: Cape of Good Hope QV ½d stationery envelope pencil-addressed to the ship <i>"Panther, Walfishbay"</i> bearing three line manuscript cancel <i>"Walfish/Bay/26/6/09".</i> No other markings. Superb, rare. <i>These cancellations came about due to a fire destroying the Post Office at Walfish Bay with resultant disruption to orderly execution of postal matters.</i>
