1927 WALVIS BAY to Germany: Registered envelope franked block of six and a single 1d Ship of SA ovptd (SG 42) well tied by three strikes of the Walvis Bay cds 9 JUN (Putzel Type B12). Front shows the "R" handstamp numbered 24 in manuscript and an additonal perfect strike of the despatch cds. Backstamped with a further strike of the Walvis Bay cds and in red the arrival mark 6.7. F to VF, attractive.
