- Envelope also bears strike of the promotional cachet "THIS ARTICLE REACHES YOU BY AIRMAIL".
- On reverse the Luanda arrival cds 22 AGO.
- This flight for Angola, which had arrived from Johannesburg, carried the South African Ministers of Finance & Railways as passengers.
- This airmail route operated only three flights each way. Discontinued through lack of support and the advent of WWII.
