South West Africa 1966 Dr Vedder UPU Congress Printing Block

1966 3c Dr Vedder SWISS PAPER, WMK RSA TETE-BECHE (SG 200var/CC 229a). Bottom marginal UM ARROW & SHEET NO (5134) BLOCK OF 18 of this elusive stamp. Sound UM, a tad less than fresh, folded through perfs vertically between 4th and 5th columns. Only 45 sheets were printed to provide presentation folders for the 1969 (8th April) UPU Congress in Tokyo. A rare and desirable positional multiple thus. (cv£540++).
