1895-96 QV 2r carmine & yellow-brown OVPT AT FOOT & "ITALIC CAPITAL Z" (SG 19z var). VF/M example from the small first printing with overprint at foot of stamp. Fresh, well-centered, vibrant colour. A technically interesting stamp unrecorded by Griffith-Jones or Hall, clearly very rare. A novel Zanzibar exhibition showpiece. See additional image.
